Surf Clubs are a great value option for hosting a meeting or event. Usually a 'dry hire' venue, surf clubs allow you choose your own caterer, set up and styling. For day meetings and conferences mid-week, venue hire fees are generally low and you will have one of the best views of the beach from these spaces!

This club is located at the south end of Manly Beach with stunning views across the ocean and a large outdoor balcony overlooking the surf. This is a great space for meetings ranging in size from 10-40 guests. For larger events, they can accommodate up to 80 people seated or 120 standing.
Located smack bang in the middle of Manly Beach, this club offers views directly over the beach with plenty of natural light. A great spot for a smaller meeting of 10-30 people. For larger events such as a cocktail party, the space can accommodate up to 65 people.
Located at the northern end of Manly, this clubhouse was refurbished a few years ago and has a very fresh and modern feel to it. There are two function rooms to choose from, the Peter Yarra Daley Room can seat 72 guests or standing 150 and flows onto an outdoor balcony facing Queenscliff Beach. for meetings, they have different styles of seating so you could either set up u-shape, classroom or cabaret style for around 36 people.
Their larger space, the David Piper Room, has capacity of 128 seated or 200 standing. For larger meetings, we recommend up to 84 people cabaret style to allow enough space for catering tables at the rear of the space.
This club is located on the harbourside of Manly, with a huge outdoor deck looking across Sydney Harbour. The venue has capacity for 100 people seated or 150 standing. For meetings, u-shape is the best set up option for up to 39 guests, with catering set up on the outdoor covered balcony.
This club has four function rooms to choose from. The Freshwater room has capacity for 100 seated or 150 standing and is on the beach side of the venue, with a private balcony overlooking the beach. Furniture hire may be required in addition to the venue hire fee. For small meetings from 10 to 16 people, they have a dedicated meeting room on the corner of the mezzanine level with ocean views.
Located at the northern end of Curl Curl beach, facing south, this club has a function space with capacity for up to 120 guests. Furniture hire may be required.
This surf club can accommodate up to 100 guests seated or 150 standing and has amazing ocean views from Long Reef to Palm Beach. This is a fully licensed venue so no BYO alcohol is permitted. Furniture hire may be required.
Located towards the southern end of the beach, this club can accommodate up to 120 guests.
This brand new club is now available for function bookings. It offers a stunning upper level space with a bar and kitchen facilities, as well as a HUGE outdoor terrace and of course, beach views! Whilst the capacity is 300 people standing, we would recommend around 200 for a cocktail party (there is no covering for the outdoor terrace in the event of wet weather.
The Ocean View Room can hold up to 120 guests standing or 100 seated. It's fully licensed so no BYO alcohol. It has a covered outdoor balcony with stunning views of the beach.
This surf club has two function rooms for hire. The Narrabeach Function Room has polished timber floors and can seat up to 120 guests or standing 135 people. The venue is licensed and they have beverage packages available. The Club Meeting Room is suitable for smaller meetings and they have special winter venue hire fees between June & August.
This club overlooks the beach and has a balcony with capacity of the function space 100 guests.
This is a brand new surf club and features three function spaces located on the top floor of the club with uninterrupted views over Mona Vale beach. The largest space can seat up to 120 guests or standing 150. The Ocean Pool Room also an outdoor balcony with stunning views. The Cook Terrace also has a private balcony and can seat up to 40 guests or standing 70. You can also combine these two rooms for a larger function. This is a fully licensed venue so BYO alcohol is not permitted.
Function room hire upstairs at the Newport Surf Club with a large balcony, accommodating approx 50 seated and 80 for a cocktail party.
